Some items are fragile and we can furnish expert packers to pack items
such as mirrors, pictures, china, crystal, lamps, at delivery point
in same condition as when packed. Remember there is no valuation on
items not professionally packed by our moving experts.
 
Again, when professional packing is required, only smiling, competent
professionals will accomplish this with the best materials. Special
cartons are used to pack china and fragile items. We also can provide
specialized crating for antiques and objects of art. It is important
for you to pack important documents, jewelry, and valuables you
need, or arrival at your new home. Normally, items in dressers and
chest of drawers can remain in the drawers during your move. Please
don't over pack or over load the drawers as it will cause damage
to the drawers.
Our Storage Facilities
Statesboro Transfer & Storage Co., Inc. can accommodate your
personal storage needs on short or long term bases. Your possessions
are stored in individual large wooden storage containers away from
dust and completely secure in our 30,000 square foot new, safe,
clean, humidity controlled, and computerized warehouse. Hundreds
of Armed Forces personnel store their household goods for up to
3 years. We are approved by the U.S. government and inspected by
M.T.M.C.-(Military Traffic Management Command) and R.S.M.O.-(Regional
Storage Management Office) every six months to assure only the best
is good enough for our military. Civilian or military, the same
superior service and equipment is used.
All local and intra-state moves as well as moves to neighboring
states will be normally moved on our moving equipment. Moves over
500 miles within the United States and to overseas countries will
be arranged by us but hauled by Wheaton World Wide Moving Co, which
we serve as an agent.
